The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has successfully released the Jan/Feb first Series Results Out Online for 2018/2019.

This is to inform candidates who participated in the WAEC GCE 2018 Jan/Feb 1st Series Examination that the result has been released.

According to Promise made by the WAEC Head of National Office, Mr. Olu I. Adenipekun he said the results of any WASSCE diet will be released within 45 days after the conduct of the examination and to issue certificates within 90 days.

This will mean that the results of the examination would have been released in less than 30 days after the last paper was written.

This now indicates that the results of the WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2018-First Series will be released on or before Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

By this information, candidates who sat for the examination are advised to start checking their results in the next 24 hours.

Steps To Check WAEC GCE 2018 First Series Result Online.

  • Candidates are to logon to the WAEC result checking portal via http://www.waecdirect.org.
  • Enter your WAEC Examination Number in the required column.
  • Select your Examination Year i.e. 2018.
  • Select your Examination Type i.e. PRIVATE CANDIDATE RESULT.
  • Enter the Card Serial Number.
  • Enter the Card PIN.
  • Finally, click “Submit” button to get your 2018 WAEC GCE 2018 Result.

NOTE: You don’t need to buy any scratch card to check your WAEC result.

The result checker PIN and Serial Number are contained on each Candidates Photo-card Slip issued by WAEC.
